The goal of tax planning and tax preparation is to pay the least amount of tax allowed under the tax code. As a CPA firm with experienced tax professionals, we work with each business client to understand their income streams and expenses. With this understanding, we advise on how to legally maximize deductions and manage income to achieve lower taxes while ensuring tax compliance.
We provide business tax preparation and planning services to small and medium sized companies including:
Business Type | Income Tax Form |
---|---|
C-Corporation | Form 1120 |
S-Corporation | Form 1120S |
Partnership | Form 1065 |
Limited Liability Company | Form 1120, 1120S, 1065 or Schedule C |
Sole Proprietor | Schedule C of Form 1040 |
Many of our LLC and S-Corporation clients are single-member, 1-employee companies. These small businesses have unique tax saving opportunities relating to health insurance and medical costs. We can show you how to achieve these tax savings.
Tax preparation generally begins with a scheduled tax appointment. These meetings can be in-person, online, or over the phone. During the meeting, we review your prior year tax returns and your current financial records. Upon receipt of all required tax documents including the business tax organizer, we begin the returns.
At conclusion of the tax engagement, we review the return with you, obtain your signatures and e-file the returns. We provide a paper or electronic copy of the returns.
If you own a small business and haven't kept your bookkeeping up-to-date, don't worry. We offer complete bookkeeping services and can use your bank statements, credit card statements and other documents to update, or create, a clean set of accounting records.
